Shimmer is made from combing holographic materials with very fine nylon fibers. It swims and breathes just like marabou, but is much more resilient. This tough material can be used as a substitute in any fly pattern that calls for traditionally delicate marabou. It has held up and proven itself against trout, salmon, panfish and lakers. Tie flies like, crystal buggers, clousers, leeches, sand eels, streamers and minnow patterns.
