Poly Bear is a blend of Angel Hair and polypropylene fibers. The Poly material is about as coarse as Polar bear or calf tail. It also doesn't absorb water, so larger flies won't get heavy and difficult to cast. Patterns such as baitfish, clousers, and sand eels are excellent choices when targeting Coho Salmon on the west coast. Poly Bear is also excellent for spinner wings and streamer patterns.
